ETS2 1.57 COMPATIBILITY PATCH: Hardy Heavy & Sogard Low Deck for Eugene Scania PGRS

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TRUCK MOD! ⚠️ This is a compatibility patch file only. It fixes errors when using specific custom chassis mods with the latest version of Eugene's truck.

🔧 About This Compatibility Fix

Eugene has recently updated his amazing Scania PGRS pack for ETS2 1.57. However, popular chassis add-on mods—specifically Hardy's Heavy Transport and Sogard's Low Deck—have not yet been updated by their creators.

Attempting to use these older chassis mod with the new Eugene update results in game crashes, missing textures (red parts), broken trailer cables, and misaligned parts.

I have created this patch to bridge the gap. It fixes the outdated definitions and file conflicts, allowing you to enjoy these specialized chassis options with the latest PGRS version without errors.

📦 What It Fixes

• Resolves crash-to-desktop issues when selecting Heavy/Low deck chassis at the dealer.
• Fixes missing or broken trailer cables.
• Addresses rear bumper and fender alignment issues caused by the 1.57 update.

Please follow this load order exactly in your Mod Manager. An incorrect order WILL result in crashes.

2. [MIDDLE PRIORITY] Hardy Heavy Chassis
3. [MIDDLE PRIORITY] Low Deck Chassis by Sogard
4. [LOWEST PRIORITY] Scania PGRS by Eugene (Original Main Mod)

(Note: If you use sound mods or skin packs, place them ABOVE this compatibility patch).

🚨 Important Troubleshooting

• Crashes with Existing Trucks? If you have an old truck in your garage that was using a Hardy or Sogard chassis before the 1.57 update, loading it may cause a crash due to outdated configurations. Solution: Please SELL your old heavy/low deck truck. After activating this patch with the correct load order, go to the Truck Dealer and buy a brand new one.
